General Troop Philosophy: We strive to guide boys to become the kind of men that America needs. We focus on the Boy Scouting Aims of building moral strength and characterparticipating citizenship, and development of physical, mental, and emotional fitness. We utilize the 8 Boy Scout Methods to achieve these aims. In addition, we try to make sure that all of our Scout leaders are fully trained and the Troop pays to send our qualified youth leaders to National Youth Leadership training every year.

Troop Camping Program: Each year in our annual planning meeting, the boys decide where they will camp each month. We try to camp at various types of sites to provide car camping and backpacking opportunities. We strive to engage the Scouts in a variety of activities on camp-outs such as Scout skills, rock climbing, mountain biking, canoeing, service projects, and good old-fashioned fun.

We are a small, quiet troop, looking to add some new boys who would like to have a big influence on what the troop does.

Sincerely,
John Moehring
