ASSOCIATE PASTOR

Jeremy Bass grew up in Friendswood, Texas, a suburb of Houston. He went to John Brown University where he met his wife, Erika. Together they have one son, Elias. After John Brown, he graduated from Asbury seminary in 2020. Jeremy is an ordained Elder in the Global Methodist Church. He is the preacher of our contemporary worship service, The River, and oversees Lighthouse College Ministry. His passions for ministry include: healing ministry, prayer ministry, and seeing people experience the Holy Spirit to live deeper into their calling. Jeremy has been at FMC Bryan since March of 2023.

CHRIS CAFFEE

DIRECTOR OF MUSIC MINISTRIES

Chris has been involved in the Ministry of Music in United Methodist Churches for over 30 years. He began church work at First United Methodist Church in his hometown of Allen, TX. He earned a Bachelor of Music Education degree with double major in both Choral Conducting and Voice with a minor in organ from East Texas State University (now Texas A&M—Commerce) and he is a certified Minister of Music in the United Methodist Church after completing work at Southern Methodist University’s Perkins School of Theology. Most recently he served as Co-Director of Music & Arts at Christ United Methodist Church in College Station. Chris and his wife Terri have three children: Cameron, Chelsea and Callie.

NATALIE PATTERSON

DIRECTOR OF ADULT MINISTRIES

Natalie is a graduate of Oklahoma State University. Her family includes two grown daughters and their families including five precious grandchildren. She is passionate about small group accountable discipleship as well as serving others through Animal Assisted Therapy with her two miniature dachshunds.

JEFF HOBBS

DIRECTOR OF CHILDREN AND FAMILY MINISTRIES

Jeff was born and raised in Bryan, Texas. He joined FMC in 1989 and became a member through confirmation in 1991. He graduated with a B.S. in Political Science from Texas A&M University in 2002. Jeff has earned Certification in Christian Education from Perkins School of Theology at SMU.  He has been a part of the FMC Bryan staff since 2002. Jeff loves teaching children about God and equipping parents to lead their children in faith.  Jeff and his wife, Jill have two daughters, Natalie and Reagan.

MEREDITH PENNINGTON

DIRECTOR OF YOUTH AND YOUNG ADULT MINISTRIES

Meredith was born and raised in Bryan, Texas and First Methodist Church. After marrying Doug in 1996 they moved to Richmond, Texas where they raised their family and served in ministry at Faith Methodist Church. Meredith has a BS in Kinesiology from Texas A&M University. She loves to serve and minister to youth teaching them that they can “Do Hard Things” for their faith. Equipping them to take ownership of their faith as they have learned from their parents. Meredith and Doug have 3 children and 2 bonus children: Paul, Landen and Alexis, and James and Ella.

KAITLYN ZIMMERMAN

CONTEMPORARY WORSHIP LEADER

I grew up in Crosby, Texas, where I discovered my calling for music ministry at 13 years old. Since then, I have been blessed to pursue my passion and completed a worship internship with The Woodlands Methodist Church. I love working with youth and young adult groups to help encourage and minister to my generation.

EILEEN WINKLE

Eileen was a child of military parents, so she has lived in several locations including Wisconsin. Traveling ranks as one of the top 5 things she enjoys doing most, which also includes traveling to graveyards for genealogy research. She holds an Associates Degree in business from Lon Morris College and a Bachelor of Business Finance degree from Sam Houston State University.

ANGELA CORBETT

ORGANIST

Angela is a graduate of Sam Houston State University with a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance with organ as a minor instrument. Angela has been involved in church music since childhood and in leadership of church music since the age of 16. She has served in various leadership positions as pianist, organist, choir director, children's choir director and worship leader/planner in Methodist, Baptist and Episcopal churches in Texas and Maryland. Angela has also been a piano teacher for many years.

HOSEA MORRIEL

CUSTODIAN

Hosea grew up in Lubbock, TX, He worked on everything from building fences on the ranch to being a Union Steel Worker in Houston, TX. Eventually he worked his way to the Bryan/College Station area where he worked at Allen Academy and Bryan ISD. He started with First Methodist Church, Bryan on a part-time, weekend basis only. In 1999, we asked him how he felt about working for the church full time. He said yes, and has never regretted it!
